How Does It Work?

RWA tokenization is executed through a dedicated smart contract per RWA. To mint your chosen tokenized equity, bond, ETF, or other instrument, deposit whitelisted fiat-backed stablecoins such as USDT, USDC or STABLEcoins from Stable to a specific contract representing a particular asset in a specific region, leading to burning of the stablecoins, acquiring the assets, and minting RWA token to you.

Note that accepted stablecoins differ for each asset. Fees and tokenization speed vary based on which stablecoins are used.

STABLEcoins from STABLE are optimum in both fees (no third-party stablecoin issuers fees) and in speed of tokenization process.

When choosing to redeem, the asset is sold on the open market, after which the corresponding stablecoins are minted to you based on proceeds received. Each asset is 1:1 backed and reported through Chainlink’s Proof of Reserves, ensuring complete transparency and security. Fees and redemption time vary based on the stablecoin for which you are redeeming the RWA token.

RWA Minting Process

To mint, redeem or act as arbitrageur for Stable’s Real World Assets (RWAs), first create a Stable account and successfully complete all KYC and AML checks. The process involves burning the stablecoins, purchasing assets for backing, and minting the RWA token.

With a dual focus on transparency and 1:1 asset backing, each RAW token is backed by an equivalent amount assets that it represents. This means that 100 StTSLA tokens are backed by 100 TSLA shares in Stable custody, reported through Chainlink’s Proof of Reserve.
